Since we can remember or read about we’ve been plagued with diseases, viruses of all sorts and can we stay awake or understand the terminology of the lectures that are given? Only the smarty pants would be able and willing to bear through it. Now with today’s coronavirus when it first hit in 2019 at first there was sceptic we didn’t know if there was a full exaggeration on the virus, fake news or believe every word they spoke about it. Confusion and anger filled the air besides the virus and eventually in 2020 we have learned to deal with the loss of loved ones and the way we had to change when we leave our homes. Like wear masks to go to the doctors, stores, our jobs, etc. Also doctors have changed to, we now have telehealth and virtual visits, temperatures checks, even some doctors have you call when you arrive like some immunologist because of the extra care they have to take and to many more to discuss here.. that’s what this book is for.
Two doctors that happened to be also married who calls themselves Disgusting Doctors, they wrote a book called, “THE ONLY BOOK A KID NEEDS TO READ ABOUT CORONAVIRUS EVER.” You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy the book, it’s written in a clever way explaining in details for anyone to understand about the virus and how to deal with it. The book is amusing and entertaining cartoons to understand the details and the real truths what I find longevity along with the truth of the coronavirus. There’s even a extra fun fact for the brainiest, they’re humorous and educational. The book breaks down how the virus got its name, ‘is shaped like a soccer ball with spikes’ in Latin corona means crown so it became coronavirus, fun fact.
You don’t have to be a child to enjoy this book, it’s a great way for an adult to enjoy and understand about the virus and what why crisis happened during the pandemic. It covers about the lockdown, lacking hospital staff, the drive up testing sites the fake news. This book covers so much and helps you understand it a lot easier and makes you smile at the same time. The Disgusting Doctors have educational fun fact for all ages and I enjoyed reading it to the very end, I recommend it to everyone.
